I decided I would use my strange mind experiencing to guide me through. With this as my backbone, I would go to places where things of an otherworldly nature happen, where perhaps the screen, the cloaking, between our world and theirs is the thinnest; where the mirror has cracks. Why not go all in, and voyage myself, not by contacting them, I would only get their side of the story through my understanding of their side of the story, and I wasn’t even sure if that would be the “truth” anyway. Armed with only my phone’s camera and my own innate perception system, I forwent any fancy equipment or idea of a slick production destined for YouTube. This was a personal quest guided by my own senses and perhaps aided by a healthy dose of self-protection against whatever may come my way.
In June of 1972, my uncle, Ingo Swann,[1] later known as one of the US Government’s top psychic spies, stepped into Stanford Research Institute (SRI), a West Coast think tank and rather large repository of, open as much as covertly channeled, government funding. From that moment on, he became ground zero for, in his words, “ultra-ultra-ultra-secret” missions. Eleven months later, in May of 1973, he sent out a letter. It was part of a series of disclosures he made telling the world about what he found operating in this mysterious orbit. In these disclosures, which included his books Star Fire and Penetration: The Question of Extraterrestrial and Human Telepathy, he named what was going on and who and what exactly was involved; although these attempts were cryptic. In the case of this letter, he said it openly and directly, not mincing his words: we are not alone on this planet. Decades later, within the pages of his book Penetration, he told us something more about just “who” is here on the planet with us. “Perhaps there was a space opera going on in which two different sets of extraterrestrial [read an unseen non-human entity, higher intelligence, deity] troops were fighting some kind of war here on Earth—while both at the same time were somehow ensuring that HUMANS never realize that they, themselves, are psychic.” Two years later, he told syndicated radio show host Art Bell, these unseen entities are the ones ruling this planet.

I call this not being alone on the planet with unseen non-human entities a conjunction; a juxtaposition of us and them. These are my stories.
Any photos from the locations I visited, including the photos I describe in the book, are available on the various pages within this website.
On these pages too is more information about the locations:
Some of the materials not relating to a specific location mentioned in the book are provided as PDFs or links on the Run-Up, Wind-Up, or Historical Tidbits pages.
For the most part, life on planet earth is lived out chasing fantasies or believing in them; it is only the fallout from these that bring about the realities.
Ingo Swann | Anacalypsis: A Psychic Autobiography
Ingo Swann (September 14, 1933 - January 31, 2013) was a globally renowned artist, author, and researcher in the field of parapsychology. He is most recognized for his groundbreaking work in Remote Viewing (RV), a term he coined during his time at the American Society for Psychical Research (ASPR) alongside Dr. Karlis Osis and Janet Lee Mitchell. Additionally, he is credited with developing the protocols for Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV) while collaborating with Dr. Harold Puthoff and Russell Targ at Stanford Research Institute (SRI).
With a published collection of more than twenty books, he delved into topics such as human consciousness and our inherent abilities. He also shared his intriguing experiences with clandestine government operations involving psychic surveillance of celestial bodies like the Moon and Mars. His creative works are in the collections of The American Visionary Art Museum, The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E), The Leslie Lohman Museum of Art, ONE National Gay and Lesbian Archives at the USC Libraries, and the High Line Hotel.
Elly Flippen is the niece of the famous artist, astrologer, psychic researcher, and Remote Viewer Ingo Swann. She has an impressive educational background, including a Vassar College undergraduate degree and an MBA from Columbia University. Elly has played a crucial role in preserving and promoting her uncle's legacy, as seen in her support for her mother's donation of his archives to the University of West Georgia and art to various institutions.
In addition, she has helped establish fellowships/scholarships with her mother to further research on human consciousness.
Elly was able to gain firsthand understanding of Ingo’s precise nature, inventive methods, unexpected psychic occurrences, and the diverse group of visitors who regularly visited his New York apartment, thanks to their close connection over several years.
Elly wrote, edited, and provided the art direction for the book Stardust Highways: Ingo Swann's Art of Entertaining, which showcased her uncle’s artistic and culinary talents.
